At Stuart Shone Furniture I produce high quality handmade furniture on commission from my workshop in Ardvasar, Isle of Skye for homes and premises throughout the highlands and further a field.

I formed the company in 2000 (formerly Sleat Furniture Services) after a number of years training in Fife College obtaining an HND in Furniture Craftsmanship. I take on all types of commission work from large kitchens, commercial work and batch production to small individual items and repair and restoration work using local and native timbers.

A lot of the furniture I produce typically uses clean straght lines and lets the natural grain of the timber form the beauty of a piece, but I also enjoy a challenge.
